Seems to be pulling new ones so maybe they didn't go through.
-
Chimichanga is a funny word to say.
-
@psquid watch out you'll get an 8-game ban or criminal proceedings!

Mustard does not appear to be pulling in all of my posts. Whatever. Bedtime.

At home in California, they've now resorted to confiscating people's cars to try to force the low income to buy auto insurance. Just makes it worse.
about 7 hours ago from Choqok-
@jpope Oh, I'm not there yet. Fourteen days, barring a new assignment before I head home.
-
@lnxwalt280 some states (wisconsin for instance) have some sort of waiver for low income people. I don't know all the details but supposedly super-cheap
-
Well, be sure to have your insurance paid up. :/

@douglasawh Mandatory insurance is a failed product. It failed in the automotive field, and it will fail in the health care field.
about 7 hours ago from Choqok-
@lnxwalt280 upheld, the Republicans can suck it and then perhaps we won't end up with some stupid "compromise" that no one likes when we go to fix the damn thing.
-
@douglasawh Oh, I'm sure every state has such a law, but they are widely flouted, especially among the lower-income, where it doesn't make sense to skip meals so that one can pay premium.
-
@lnxwalt280 well, as I said, not *every* states has such a law.
-
-
Despite its numerous flaws, I think overturning the healthcare bill would be a step backwards.
-
@douglasawh You mean the Insurance Company Welfare law? What happens when we finally get a decent Atty General and they're all in prison?
-
@lnxwalt280 corporations don't go to prison, silly. They are "persons" above the law.
-
@lnxwalt280 but they can be fined up to 10,000,000 for economic espionage.
-
-
Of course the big difference in M v M was they could say "um, you didn't object to this 25 years ago when most of the framers were still around"
-
Aside from that one slightly bizarre passage SCOTUS could uphold the healthcare bill with just a few words: "see McCulloch v. Maryland"
-
#! is in the odd position of being everything I would want, except for the Debian base. So instead, I tend to run a crunchy $DISTRO.
-
It’s nice, but I don’t really see the big advantage over just spinning up my own Arch system anyway, since I don’t usually migrate ..
-
.. between distros unless I’ve got a little time free anyway.
-
Perhaps it's a linguistic change over the last 193 years but to me "very necessary" sounds near moronic.

@marxistvegan the joke about Obama was good. I don't have an hour and 30 min though to watch. :(

not sure this will work - as it would also mean: "don't visit regular news websites"
-
@headphonica but NC licenses don't keep money out of the system
-
how come that?
-
@headphonica because, as you should know, one can dual license or use the work to profit themselves.
-
-
I'd say generally speaking I am a fan of "necessary and proper" not being too strict but I must say I am wholly unimpressed reading McCulloch v Maryland
-
The never-ending tiredness. I "should" be reading Con Law stuff...

Sheesh. John Terry just doesn't know when to give up, does he? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16759691.stm

@davidmarsden I don't understand why the police are involved with JT. Saurez got 8 games, not a deportation hearing.
-
@douglasawh ... because a member of the public made a complaint. Suarez was just an FA issue.

@diablomarcus @mlinksva !disturbing, like @bkuhn trying to turn !fs into celebrity gossip; could drive people to proprietary sw. #notatroll

@diablomarcus in-context fail. What is odd/disturbing?

So...SD card decided to be recognized...weird
